What time does the ship dock/tender in GC?

I am really confused about day light savings which will happen the day we leave for our Conquest cruise from Central time Galveston (Nov. 1st). I am trying to decide on a stingray city tour and trying to figure out the time we will arrive. I think it will be an hour later in GC? The time will have fallen back an hour CT.

Thanks for helping confused minds like mine:o

Grand Cayman does not have Daylight Savings Time this year. So, right now the time is the same as Central Daylight.

After the fall change you and the ship will be one hour behind GC. If the ship anchors at 8 the time on the island will be 9. If you are booking a ship excursion it really doesn't make any difference. If you are booking an independant tour just remember to keep your watch on ship's time.

Hope this helps,

Charlie

Grand Cayman is always a Tender Port. The tour operators there see ships every day and they know the schedules. They will accomodate you even if your ship is late, and they have you back on time.

We did the stingray city tour, and it was a lot of fun. I'd advise a reputable independent tour instead of a ship sponsored tour - the experience is usually better and less crowded, and less expensive too.

Some places I'd be wary of an independent tour, but not at Grand Cayman.
