Hi,

This is our first time cruising with Hal and we are so excited. Is it true you can bring your own wine and beer on board?:)

Only partly correct; wine and champagne but no beer.

Unlimited quantities of wine and champagne either at embarkation or various ports of call. If you take same to the dining room, there will be a corkage fee of $18/bottle ... many have reported on these boards as being charged for all, some or none in the dining room.

We bought a case of Chilean wine on our way to board the Rotterdam in Valparaiso. Took it on board no problem. The charging of corkage in the DR is a bit uneven. Maybe somebody working for an extra tip.
