How much noise from the deck above would there be in such a cabin? The cabin I'm looking at is right below the restaurant.

You might here chair scraping in the morning or at night. I just moved my cabin to 1 under other cabins.

We were under the buffet on the Valor and every morning around 5 we heard the chairs scraping/carts being rolled...I wouldn't take that cabin again :eek:

Aside from the chairs scraping, be prepared to hear the sound of various objects dropped (trays, cups, utensils, or pots & pans if you're under where the food is prepped.) Just bring ear plugs and you'll be fine. :)

I always try to book a cabin that is sandwiched between cabins. If you can't do that, then you probably will need earplugs from what I've heard from other cruisers.
