corner aft on rhapsody, will soot or fumes be an issue?

We're booked in 7652 (corner aft) on Rhapsody for an Alaska cruise. Will we have soot or fume related issues? Thanks to anyone who can share their experience.

We did not have any soot or fume issues with that cabin at all. If the winds were in a certain direction, you might have a minor or temporary issue, but we had none. You have a fabulous cabin! Enjoy!!!!!

When we sail in an aft cabin I generally either quickly wipe the chairs prior to sitting or just lay a towel on them. I wear lots of white while cruising and really want to keep the slacks clean! I’ve never had any real problem with soot.

We just had a JS aft on Rhapsody, Sydney to Honolulu this April and yes we did have soot on 2 or 3 days of our 16 night cruise. We just checked each day to make sure the seats or lounges were clean before we used them. You have a corner aft so it could be different!
