Fairbanks - Alaska Salmon Bake and Palace Theater Saloon

We went to the Pioneer Park salmon bake last August- it was great- the best salmon we had in Alaska. We took the free shuttle from the Princess Riverside. We went late, so we did not go to the show. After our dinner we wandered around the park- there are some machinery displays. The main courses at the park are cooked over an open fire- salmon and prime rib and then there is a deep fryer near it where halibut and cod are prepared. The weather was good, so we ate at a picnic table under the trees, but there are seats available under cover.

Agree with Laurie (above)-the salmon and halibut were delicious. We went early-it is a buffet, so we figured it would be more appetizing if you arrived early! The show was very cute-would also recommend-and Pioneer Park is fun to walk around in. Hope you have an enjoyable evening, as we did!
