What you must be remembering is your black and white TV :D

The beginning of the movie has always been in black and white, but when Dorothy lands in Oz.............it turns to color.

LOL Toto on the Ahhs . . . I remember that KS tourism slogan from back in the 80's & 90's ;). I honestly didn't get it the 1st couple of times I saw posters in one of the turnpike's stops (think it was one with a Burger King?).

I've always loved the Wizard of Oz but I don't think they show it very much on UK tv now. I was even in a ballet school production when I was about 10 years of age. No big part for me, just two small roles as a bluebird and an autumn leaf - ah, happy days:D
