Pub Crawl

Has anyone ever organized a pub crawl across the ship? I have always thought that would be fun. Start at the top and work your way down, doing one shot at each bar or something. It would take a group to make it fun. Maybe incorporate a card game with it. My wife and I always go on cruises alone, and never really meet a lot of people, so i have never found a way to make it happen.

Maybe Carnival should organize it. We could get the golden trophy and a t-shirt. Buy a ticket for a drink at each bar, and pick up a card for a poker hand. The winner gets the golden ship on a stick.

Haven't done this but have done a cabin crawl that was organized on the roll call section of these boards.

And unlimited shots for the rest of the cruise...just have to make sure that the crawl takes place on the first night;)

 

No seriously, they only have pub crawls on Royal Caribbean.:)

Its interesting I thought of it on the viyager of the seas a few years ago. I didn't see one on the activities. That ship could have had one long crawl, my knees would have been bloody from all the crawling.

This is how we play it...

 

Collect $5 from each person.

Need 5 decks of cards and booze smuggled on

enough for everyone to have a shot

In the “Cabin or room”. Shot glasses-get at novelty shop.

 

Host Room:

1. Sign the face of each card -in the deck you will be given.

2. Need to provide the shot/alcohol, beer,

soda, etc for that round served in your room.

3. Give a drink to each person to visit your room.

4. When drank- let person select ONE random card

from the deck and sign their name on it right then.

5. After getting your card - proceed to the next room.

save your shot glass & hold onto your cards.

6. Repeat until you have your five cards. After the last

room - person with the best hand wins $$$ in pot!

(Good way to see each other’s Cabins or Rooms)

 

Players:

1. Go from each Cabin/Room to the next getting

your beer/shot/ at each one. Toast. Must finish drink

before collecting one playing card and signing it.

2. Proceed to the next room, Repeat.

3. At last room when everyone has 5 cards (must be

all signed) Person with best 5 card Poker hand WINS $$ Pot!!!

NO SHARING CARDS

4. If you're still able to walk - time to PARTY!

Can also do 7 rooms and best 5 card hand wins.

My DH and I will be cruising on the Conquest on June 14th....if you're on this cruise then we would be willing participants for this particular Pub Crawl. :D

We did a Pub Crawl on the ship during our last cruise. My sister and I actually did the Key West Pub crawl which was on the 2nd day of our cruise. During that pub crawl we ended meeting the greatest group of people that we ended up hanging out with for the rest of the week. On the last night we decided to do an Ship Crawl to commemorate our first meeting. We started at the Sports Bar, then the Casino Bar, the Wine Bar, the Piano Bar, the Jazz/Latin bar, then to the disco to dance the rest of our last night away. The only rule was that you had to get a different drink at each bar. Couldn't have the same thing twice. And we tried to pick up more people along the way...which we actually did. Met some more fun people that somehow we never met up until then. It was a really fun night!!

I did a pub crawl on Princess before. I believe you get a t-shirt when you're finished. We finished, but I didn't want the t-shirt because the only ones they had left were way too big for me.

 

Maybe I missed the post, but what ship are you sailing with next?

We are taking the Triumph out of NYC to Canada on 6/15. Its getting close!

There have been plenty of pub crawls and cabin crawls well documented on here over the years.

It's very easy to do...not much organizing...just get everyone to show up and go from there...LOL
