kk99 Posted June 8, 2009 Author #51 Share Posted June 8, 2009 The formal nights are listed in the dailies that I previously posted the link to. The first formal night was the second night of the cruise, and the second formal night was the fifth night of the cruise when we had cruised Hubbard Glacier that day. Have a great cruise, Kelcie
gracecarmo Posted June 8, 2009 #52 Share Posted June 8, 2009 On the other M class ships, it seems that the library has deteriorated. During the refurbishment, has the library been improved?
nfox211 Posted June 13, 2009 #53 Share Posted June 13, 2009 On our cruise - Southbound the formal nights were the 2nd and 5th nights. (Hubbard Glacier and Icy Strait Point)
dmpuszcz Posted June 13, 2009 #54 Share Posted June 13, 2009 Hi everyone,Here is the page where I posted all of the attachments which are the dailies, spa menus and misc. Just clikc on each attachment for they day's events https://sites.google.com/site/milleniumalaska/Home Here is the link to a few pictures.http://picasaweb.google.com/oasiscru...illeniumAlaska# The coffee tables on the room are not of an adjustable height like on some other lines. The main dining room is not open on port days for lunch. Your options are room service, the Aqua Spa cafe (buffet style), the Ocean View buffet, or the pool grill for hamburgers. We usually ate at the Aqua Spa Cafe for lunch just because we liked the food there. Quite a few people also ate in port, so I guess that's why the main restaurant didn't open for lunch. The Rendez-Vous lounge could comfortably have 20 or so couples twirling around the floor. it was never that crowded at any one time. They had dancing in the Cosmos lounge, the dance floor was larger than the Rendez-Vous. It accomodated quite a few more people as most people were dancing more modern style moves. They played pop, rock, and techno in the Cosmos lounge. All of it was danceable, and it was always interesting to watch some of the people who danced salsa. The dj did take requests if you asked. it was always pretty full most nights. Enjoy your upcoming cruise. Kelcie Thanks for posting all this information. We'll be going on our first Celebrity cruise on Constellation and this really helps add to the excitement.
