Good Restaurant in Monte Carlo

We will be on the Ruby 12 day Med. cruise starting July 15th. We will be there from 11 -7. My group of 6 will be meeting a French cousin, and walking around with them, and then treating to either a later lunch...1 -2ish or an earlier dinner.......3-4:30 We want to see the casino and the palace and also talk with them.

 

I would have loved something outdoors enjoying the view, but in July the heat will kill us, and we'd probably need a break in air-conditioning. Can anyone recommend a very nice place...........comfortable for talking.....yet maybe also with a great view? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cafe de Paris located in a spectacular Hotel between the Casino and the Palace. It is awesome and super expensive.

If you want a good cheap lunch in Monte Carlo and you know the Grand Prix circuit, come down the hill from the tunnel to the chicane and just there, on the left, will be a great mobile cafe with lots of tables and chairs beside some very expensive yachts. Cheap eating in a great location.
