What is the difference between a K room and a I room

Location, location, location...usually the higher (more expensive) catagories are towards the midship and on higher decks.

Yes it would be considered an upgrade however slight it may be. :D

Other than the difference of location on the ship there are very slight differences between the cabin classes. It makes me laugh when they advertise a 2 cabin upgrade. Unless you're booking a highest cat cabin in a particular class & then apply the upgrade you won't see much of an improvement.
