ballantyne pier and car rental

Are there car rental agencies at Ballantyne Pier? If not, where does one rent a car from / close to that Pier? This board is great!

I just booked one with Hertz for Sept. when we get off the Millie. We have 8 hours to kill before our evening flight and a car seemed the best way to go. $38, unlimited mileage, with no drop off charge for the airport. We have to take a cab to the DT rental office for pick-up, but Hertz will reimburse us up to $10. What a deal! :)

What / where is the "DT" rental office?

Avis, Budget and Alamo/National each have kiosks at Ballantyne Pier.

We rented from Avis a couple of weeks ago from their Hornby Street location (you can't rent from the Ballantyne location online). For $10 US they will come to the Ballantyne pier, pick your party up, and take you to the Hornby Street location. We called them directly to set this up and there will be a representative waiting for you when you get off the ship.
