daryleann Posted June 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2009 Does anyone have experience of a room next to the bridge? Noise? Slamming doors? We have 0101 on NCL Sun and want to be prepared with earplugs, etc... Thanks.
Rare Cruise Raider Posted June 21, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2009 We sailed on the Sun and thought it must have been the most soundproof room we have ever had. With that being said, we were all the way aft on deck nine. We also sailed near the bridge on the Crown Princess and didn't hear anything from the bridge, although being right under the pool deck was a literal nightmare. I ended up getting so sick from the lack of sleep....but the bridge, not a problem at all. I don't think the captain or other officers are really going around slamming doors. I think you should be fine if there is not a public area right above you that is open 24/7.
macmermaid Posted September 13, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2009 We are right across the hall from you (a couple doors down)! I think DH is most interested in whether or not there is a DOOR to the bridge right there, so he can sneak lots of peaks or try to chat up the crew as they come and go.
