Are the tips automatically taken off your account, or do you get to personally tip the ship personel at the end of your trip?

There are three ways that it can be done ... and all are up to you.

 

1. If you do nothing then you will get envelopes the last(?) night in which to put the tips into.

 

2. You can pre-pay your tips (before the cruise).

 

3. You can go to the desk and have the tips put on your seapass (you can't do it the last night).

However, if you choose the "My Time Dining" option, you MUST pre-pay your tips--that's the only time you have no choice.
