What's the CRAZIEST thing you've seen on a cruise??

Two years ago, we were on Vision Of The Seas going down the Pacific coast. We had a wonderful table for ten in the dining room and all of us were fairly loud and each was trying to come up with something new at each meal to laugh about.

I guess he got it at the dispensary, but one of the guys showed up on the third day with an interveinous (sp?) bottle with the end (no needle) taped to his arm. A sign was taped to the bottle stating "*****"!

The waiter burst out laughing, the maitre'd came over and had a laugh, then other passengers came over to see what all the laughing was about.

It was a good cruise and we never missed dinner!

I did hear one couple in the not-so-newlywed game admit to making whoopee in the girls room at a Catholic school and another admit to using her parents kitchen table ... her parents were in the audience.

Well speaking about the newlywed game I remember the cruise when teh couple couldn´t agree on this question. One of them thought the stragest place had been the Windjammer and the other thought it was the ships theater. :D

I was on the 12/5 Radiance too, and I understand they hauled away the oldl lady that slapped that girl.

We saw a couple probably in their 50's disembark the ship in St. Maartin with their luggage. We thought it was odd. Perhaps this was the woman that slapped the other one? We do know the RCI does not tolerate any form of violence.

Two years ago on the Enchantment, we saw a girl (no more then 12) being very kind to the lower anatomy of a boy (no more then 12). This was on the pool deck in plain view. In their defense, it was after midnight, but still. The saddest thing is that they were not embarrased by people walking around. I was on vacation with another teacher and we were just glad those kids were not our responsibility and kept walking.

my ankles get sore from walking too ;)

anyway. I think it has to be at the newlywed game on the Serenade where the 50 year married couple answered the whoopie question with "the bathroom shower". Everyone boke out laughing becuase the shower is just barely big enough for 1-let alone 2 people (at least in lower categories). It got funnier as more and more people gave knowing looks at each other trying to figure out how to do it, or that they ALREADY did.

The St. Maartin thing was a Lady who was taken off my Ambulance she was have a heart attack. The lady that slapped the yourger one that happened on a sea day not a port day. And from what i heard the lady who was removed by Ambulance died later that day. Rccl was taking her luggage and her husbands luggage to the St. Maartin Hospital. I saw that as I was reboarding the Ship.

The craziest thing I've ever seen was the last moring of the cruise when I tried to button my pants! :D

***

the craziest thing was a young man on Destiny climbed on a rail on the top floor ready to jump in the hot tub 1 floor below encouraged by his drunken friends . Thankfully he did not jump but had he done so he would have seriously injured himself or the drunks below him . He was bombed out of his mind .

Regarding cruising with kids ...I always do and enjoy it tremendously . We have a blast and been doing do for 5 years and my little guy is 10 now . Would never cruise without them and as long as they want to they will always be welcome / I feel sorry for others who would rather not be with their kids. Each his own.

Can't agree more, it's not the newborns, as much as the toddlers running around amonk in areas that they shouldn't be. Take the little ones to the kidde play/pool areas. This will keep everyones nerves in check. It is difficult for them to stay still, let them blow off some steam. Sometimes parents are asking too much from the little ones.

I had one of these "adorable little ones" pour a cold drink on my back. Parents about 30 feet away. No apology, just a laugh and oh isn't that cute! Maybe I can laugh about it now, it wasn't the kids fault. But being in a sound sleep on deck...need I say more.

Cruise ships that cater to families have some excellent programs for children. Kids will be kids, some parents think their Johny or Susie is the greatest and just say oh their sooo cute as they distrub other people. By the way...I like kids...but when I have them, I don't expect everyone to like or love mine. I certainly wouldn't want to impose on your vacation, bring the kids, yes they will have fun, but be a parent and keep your family experience yours.

I'm sure some will agree, and then I expect quite a few "get a life" replies.

Always at the pool. At the hairy chest contest. Well when they had the female judges at the edge of the pool, one of them felt up the first guy going through, we thought, must be her husband, or whatever...then she did the same to every guy that went by, the guys took it in stride, their women didn't. It got a little ugly. Catfight at the pool

Hi DeRon,

Mostly their chest, did a bit of grabbing south of the belly button. Trying to keep this clean. In Chicago we used to have a strip club for women called the Sugarshack. Maybe she thought she was there. She should of stuffed some bills in their suits.

P.S. if your lol you may not be that slow.

Teenage son? Sorry, but behavior such as that isn't limited to the younger generation. On our last cruise in October, I ran across a man that appeared to be in his 40's walking out of the dining room on one of the formal nights dressed in a very nice looking tux - tails, ruffled shirt, black tie, the works - and... a pair of blue jeans and tennis shoes. He strutted his stuff the entire evening, apparently trying to make some sort of statement.

Was his statement "Hey, look at me. I'm an idiot!"? I saw an aquaintance once at a wedding the same way. He also strutted his stuff like a peacock but left behind a set of snickers from the other attendees. He really did look like a jerk suffering from mid-life crisis. :D

Hummmmm..... I think it is crazy when you see 50ish women getting their hair braided. All I can say is EWWWWW....... To each his own, but I think they look silly.

I'm not 50ish yet, but like to have my hair braided to keep it out of my face on windy days...

Two very good looking guys in their 20's escorting two ladies who looked like they had sailed on the Titanic..had to be in their 70's. They were everywhere we went....and the young guys were all touchy feely with the old ladies..

One day by the pool I sat next to one of the guys and he started chatting..he was alone and said he was "on business" on the cruise. A little bit more into the conversation, he divulged that his business was taking care of the old ladies.

By the end of the cruise I had run into this guy several times...sometimes alone, sometimes not... and I found out that his "business" was REALLY taking care of the ladies in more ways than one... Told me that he had a suite, all expenses were paid, including first class airfare and at the end of the trip he would get a $500.00 bonus. I remember that he said he had a Masters Degree in something but was making more money at the time doing what he was doing...

My sister and I still laugh about it....
