seamanfs Posted July 6, 2009 #4 Share Posted July 6, 2009 How much SBC do you get for the 100 shares of CCL? Does it depend on the length of the cruise like other credit is figured upon? It may be worth buying just for that reason.

Pia1913 Posted July 6, 2009 #15 Share Posted July 6, 2009 Can anyone explain the share holder information in these posts? If you purchase a minimum of 100 shares of CCL, you are entitled to shipboard credit as designated above, each time you cruise on a CCL product. I see you are schedule for HAL. That cruise would give you the specific amount listed.
paul929207 Posted July 6, 2009 #16 Share Posted July 6, 2009 Fortunately, Lisa from Carnival does not call me to verify the amount of the OBC for CC members.
SeaWatch Posted July 6, 2009 #17 Share Posted July 6, 2009 Does it multiply with each 100 block?
Pia1913 Posted July 6, 2009 #18 Share Posted July 6, 2009 No multiples. One allowance per cabin per cruise. Wish it were so, since I do own multiples. :D

Pia1913 Posted July 6, 2009 #20 Share Posted July 6, 2009 At $250 per 100 shares, I would buy more. Of course you would. If it were so, I could have retired on my OBC. :D
SeaWatch Posted July 6, 2009 #21 Share Posted July 6, 2009 I think this might be a good investement in my IRA, CCL is def. a company that will be around a long time, and it is like getting a bonus dividend! Thanks for the hint.

Thanks for the hint. Now you need to stop cruising NCL and start using one of the CCL products exclusively. :)
paul929207 Posted July 6, 2009 #23 Share Posted July 6, 2009 Of course you would. If it were so, I could have retired on my OBC. :D Retired and did what? Cruise?
