Taxi to Pisa from Livorno

After a hectic day in Rome, I think it would be wise to take easy for our next excursion since we have a 10 year old daughter (she is not too exciting visiting museum). I read the board that it would be reasonable to take a train to Pisa from Livorno port. If Pisa is only about 19km (12mi), I think it would be reasonably to take a taxi for a family of three. Has anyone take a taxi to Pisa from Livorno before ? if so, how was your experience and how much does it cost ?
