2 days Grand Tour St. Petersburg

I am on the July 25 Emerald Baltic Cruise. I read from another cruiser who recently got off the Baltic Cruise commenting the 2 days grand tour offered by princess is horrible. Guide did not count the group and too rushed.

Looking to get more feedback from recent cruisers who went on this 2 day grand tour at St. Petersburg.

1) How much free time do you get at Peterhof fountains for photo taking? What time are you at the fountains? Is the fountain turned on?

2) Is there long wait time to get through immigration?

1. We took the two day DenRus tour (highly recommend it) and saw both the upper and lower garders at Peterhof. There was no free time there, but there was adequate time to gaze at and photograph the fountains on our tour.

2. We docked at the new port where there were about 8 immigration booths and it was relatively quick to go through. As we did not have to go through with a Princess tour group, we just left the ship as soon as authorities gave permission to leave. There is another thread where it looks as if they docked at the old port where there are only four booths and immigration was a mess.
