Hey there. I thought I would start an interesting thread here. I have been in several casinos and they all play various tunes. I love when they play some classic music. It makes for fun gaming. What kind of music do you like to hear. Please share. Do a search on youtube for your favorite songs and link them here.

 

Ok I will start to see if we can get a rally going.

 

I was recently on a casino that played some classic tunes. I was shooting craps and this tune came on and it was awesome. I hadn't heard the song in years and it made playing a lot of fun. The video in the beginning is a little wacko but the song is awesome! Check it out here:

GREAT idea for a thread! Though my personal taste leans more towards old-school George Strait / Alan Jackson, I know that it's an acquired taste, and probably not real conducive to the whole excitement-gambling atmosphere.

 

I did go to high school in the 80's though, so I think I can weigh in on some that might not have crossed your mind.

Those are some great tunes! Don't know if I ever heard MJ in a casino though. Maybe Thriller though on Halloween or something. LOL!

 

I was looking for another song and came across this "game related song" I haven't heard this song in years. It is so stupid it's funny. HAHAHA!

I interviewed Alan Jackson when I was a country music DJ. He was really shy in person. Kept that big hat tilted toward me and I had to stick the microphone under the hat to reach his mouth!

Those of you that have never heard music in a casino where do you gamble at? In someone's garage? In the back of an 18 wheeler traveling on the interstate? LOL! :pl

 

The only place I play is on the cruise ships. I'll be going on another trip in a couple of weeks and will pay attention this time to the music.

Depends on the mood at the time - a bit of R&B or C&W always goes down well - so long as it doesnt disguise the sound of the coins dropping....
