Price drop and early saver

Noticed a price drop today. I submitted online form. Question is this: If we have not paid in full do they still give OBC or do they reduce final payment by the price drop amount??

Per my conversation regarding this very subject:

 

If you are not past your "final payment date" they will, as firefly333 stated, reduce your final payment amount by the difference. If you ARE past the final payment date, THEN you will get an on board credit or an "upgrade". BUT- YOU HAVE TO KEEP UP ON THE RATES!! Carnival will NOT automatically do either option without you contacting them.

Lucky you!! We have early saver for Dec. 3 Sensation and the rate just keeps going up. Right now it has increased $40.00 per person. I am happy that we booked early, but, I would be very happy for the OBC:D

We booked ES on the Liberty in Oct and got an aft balcony. The price has gone up $260 per person. Don't even look at prices anymore, just look to see how many afts and up are open.
