It looks odd with the life boats hanging off the side. It looks like they will in effect block your ability to look down the side of the ship from above and watch docking, etc. One of my favorite things to do on a cruise.

They do seem to block the view as well as the thread a while back discussing the lanai deck also blocking the view from the balconies (downward at least). The lifeboats do appear to hang out rather than being tucked in like they normally are. They look like they would also help to provide a little extra shade to those of us in the lower cove balconies.
