Food and Wine Trails

This is such great site. Thanks for all your helpful information.

 

We will be on Insignia (Sept. 16 Rome to Venice). I'm wondering if anyone has done the Food and Wine Trails excursion out of Livorna. It sounds really interesting but want to be sure it is worth the expense.

I am sorry that I can't answer your original question but I pondered the same thing for our upcoming cruise next week. I am still thinking of doing the food and wine trails in Provence but for Livorno, I opted to do a private tour. I just think that if I am going to spend a lot of money, it makes sense to have a real unique experience and not be with a large group of people. I am going to be doing a tour with a wine guide. There are some posts about him here if you search. He has been real responsive to email and we are looking forward to a day in Tuscany visiting small villages and wineries.

We booked FOOD AND WINE TRAILS IN PROVENCE for our July 26th cruise next week.We are hopeing there are enough people who book this so it wont get cancelled.It sounds fantastic.
