I researched several and this sounded the most personal and longest.

You can be picked up from the pier in Colon. Anne is very prompt with emails and has answered all my questions. We are doing this tour on October 1st.

I am still a little confused, so you will see the locks on the way in and then do the excursion from the ship and not miss anything. Still not sure how you could do the village from Colon. Our Princess cruise is only there for 2 hrs. We just booked for october 21 so not sure what I am missing.

I absolutely can not wait to do this excursion. I have been trying to find out as much as I possibly could about the Embera. Richard, thank you so much for posting your link and for sharing the MTV videos site. This was the first excursion I booked for our March cruise on Celebrity Equinox. Thanks to all of the posts here I have started a list of things I have to remember not to forget for our day with the Embera.
