Post cruise, we stayed at the hotel AT the airport.

Not near the airport but AT the airport.

Rooms were very inexpensive and were OK. Restraunt in the hotel, but we ate dinner in the terminal. No more getting up at 5am to get dressed, showered, and then catch a shuttle for an early flight.

Just get up, take the elevator down, walk over to check-in, check the luggage, get boarding pass, then take the elevator back up to your room and relax.

Have they finally remodeled that thing?

It's been a few years but I stayed overnight there once for a very early flight and it was the biggest dump I've ever been in.

Can't really answer that question since last month was the first time I've ever stayed there.

Is it 4 or 5 star like a Westin or Four Seasons or (drop down) to Sheraton or Marriott? No

I'd put it in a Holiday Inn or Ramada scale.

Above a Motel 6 or Motel 8 though

What could you do with your time for a full day at the airport? Or did you cab into Miami Beach?

We spent 4 days pre-cruise near the port.

Then a 7 day cruise.

Post cruise we took a Miami Aquarium excursion that got us off the ship at 7:30 am. Onto a tour bus with our luggage. A guided tour of the city. A stop at the Aquarium. Then to the airport by 2pm.

We were beat, tired, and ready for some relaxation.

Is this the same hotel that was on the list of the dirtiest hotels in the country??????

I have to question the source of this report. 1995 report? 2005 report?

All I can provide is my June 30th 2009 report.
