Hi

I just read a review on Carnival Connections of the Victory cruise in June of this year. The poster said that all the entertainment is in Spanish. Is this true? Are all the live shows spanish? If so we will not understand a thing they are saying:eek:. We look forward to going to the shows in the main theater each night and will miss a lot of what's going on if it's all Spanish.

Perhaps the poster was meaning that the music was spanish in the bars and clubs. That we don't care about so much.

Thanks!

Laurie

Do you recall approximately at what times the English versions were held? Would it matter what dining seating you are at? In other words, if we have early seating would we miss the English show?

Thank you!

All main shows are in English...I can't foresee "Livin' In America" be sung in Spanish ;)

This response brings up another question...How does Carnival schedule the shows? Is there only one "main" show each night? When we have been on RCCL ships they had a show for the late diners that was before they ate and a show for the early diners that they saw after they ate. Both shows were exactly the same. Just wondering.

Thanks again!

The main shows are scheduled exactly as they are on other Carnival ships - generally two showings for the big song and dance numbers, and they are in English. You'll be able to attend regardless of your dinner seating.

There were Spanish comedy shows once or twice, and often Spanish entertainment (live band) in one of the secondary lounges. There were Spanish announcements.

Don't worry, it all works out very well, and we can live in harmony on the ship! Go check out the latin band one night for a fun experience!
