Karima Palace or Las Hadas witch is better?

Karima Palace wanted $75 per person day use when we stopped by. We have walked right in to Las Hadas several times. We will stop by both in the future for a walking tour and then settle in at Audencia Beach (lots to see and do, and nearly free for most)

Karima Palace or Las Hadas witch is better?

What are the latest costs for day use at each one?

What are the pros and cons of each?

I can highly recomment Karmina Palace, we did this one in March with a group of our friends as a ship excursion ($89) and it is a beautiful place. We heard from some people that were staying there for the week that they used to stay at Las Hadas and it was getting run down so they switched to Karmina Palace right next door and were very happy with it. There are some pics in my signature.

Has anyone been there on the last month or so?

Do they take credit cards at the entrance to pay for your day pass?

I think paying by credit cards might be the way to get the best exchange rate.

Some say Las Hadas charges 300 pesos or $30 us. If you pay by credit card will you get the peso rate?

I checked RCCL's excursions and they do not show a resort name for their Manzanillo Resort Getaway. The cost is $60 pp.

What cruise line did you sail on?

Apparently, judging by posts on similar thread, admission fee for Las Hadas, considerably cheaper than Karmina, is essentially refunded in the form of coupons redeemable on the property for food and drink. Is the same true for considerably higher price for day use fee at Karmina?

And, like previous OP who inquired about water taxi, is there one? Or, cab ride required?

We were at Las Hadas on Tuesday. There was no entry fee. Was asked at the gate and was told come on in no charge, we asked at the Front Desk again its free to cruisers enjoy your day just pay cash for any food drinks, and the Activities Director likewise said it was free and just asked we fill out a survey (like 10 questions 4 stars to 1 star) I asked is the fee gone for good? He said he couldnt say but during low stays it was being done away with to try to draw future guests.

Some pictures...
