NukeTim Posted July 26, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 26, 2009 Does anyone know if there are photographers set up at the Acropolis to take souvenir photos? The reason I ask is that during our honeymoon in December 1971, there was a man with a old box camera and a bucket of developer who took our photo at the best (his) spot with the Acropolis in the background. This November we'll be back for the first time and wanted to duplicate that photo. I realize that man is probably dead and camera technology has changed quite a bit in 38 years; but I was just wondering if there are photographers on-site who can give your a souvenir photo in a few minutes. CoralReef Posted July 26, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 26, 2009 I didn't see any. I think your best bet is to ask another tourist to take a picture with your camera. Or if you hire a guide, he/she could do so.
texancruzer Posted July 26, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 26, 2009 We were just there in May.... did not see any there. However..... there are some on the steps going up in Santorini that take your picture while you ride the donkeys....when you get to the top they are ready for purchase ! boiledham Posted July 28, 2009 #4 Share Posted July 28, 2009 There in July and no photographers. We just asked other tourist and that worked well! If you offer to take theirs first ...they return the favor.
