Old Question - Bringing Wine on board on Meditteranean Cruises????

Not an issue when we did Caribbean, but is there any difference. Just thinking of bringing 1 on a day after a tour.

There was a long post on this question. On our many X cruises we NEVER had an issue bringing a bottle or two back at each port for room consumption. Other posters have reported that they had bottles taken away.....

Most recently posters on the Med cruises have said no, they were not able to bring anything on board at the various ports unless to take home. Guess you will just have to try. I plan to try to bring an Italian winery bottle onboard. If they stop me, we'll drink it in Venice during our post cruise.

Just back from Summit in Med. July 9th. Celebrity confiscated wine purchases at every port (Barcelona to Venice) and returned on disembarkment. Don't count on bring wine back. Was in the Caribbean on Soltice in March, bought wine and brought back on ship wiht no problem.
