Kcarp Posted July 31, 2009 #26 Share Posted July 31, 2009 Not really that much of a perk. Unless you drink at least 7 drinks per day, every day, you don't even break even. I would have 7 drinks gone before noon! That includes port days, where you might not even be on the ship much before dinner time. Basically if cost is really an issue, buying a set of Rum Runners is still your best bet. They would lose money on us! :D
salty dingo Posted July 31, 2009 #27 Share Posted July 31, 2009 I agree... unless you like to hang out in bars all the time, the best best is to bring your own booze.
Rowan555 Posted July 31, 2009 #28 Share Posted July 31, 2009 7 drinks a day would keep my wifey unhappy with me! Maybe she should have 8 or 9, then ;)
royd1968 Posted July 31, 2009 #29 Share Posted July 31, 2009 What are LITS? I'm a frozen drink girl and I'm pretty sure all my favorites are under $7.95. That is the drink cost only. The tips are included though we always tip a dollar or two a round and will do the same with the card. Im pretty sure a lit is a long Island Iced tea....yum!!!! cathyoo Posted July 31, 2009 #30 Share Posted July 31, 2009 Im pretty sure a lit is a long Island Iced tea....yum!!!! Thanks for the response. I love LL teas but I can only drink them at the end of the night.. LITs and Kamakizes are the only drinks that will knock me for a loop.
JaniceB Posted July 31, 2009 #31 Share Posted July 31, 2009 I would book a cruise if I found one that was all-inclusive. I would prefer to know what I am paying in advance, even if it cost me a little more as long as I could drink what I wanted. spzzmoose1 Posted July 31, 2009 #32 Share Posted July 31, 2009 I wonder if gratuities are included in that card or are you still paying the 15%. I'd imagine its not included, you still should pay for service I guess.

Of course tipping an extra dollar or so will ensure the wait staff keeps coming back.
convertimia Posted February 16, 2014 #34 Share Posted February 16, 2014 I put one of these together every year! This year we are on the Breeze 21 June, last year we did the Freedom, the year before we did the Dream, the year before that the Glory, and the year before that was the Liberty. I love cruising this way!
