St. Peter's and Gelato

DH and I will be ending a long day of touring in Rome in St. Peter's- our final stop being the Sistine Chapel. I could not think of a better way to top off our Rome experience than a tasty Gelato on our walk back to San Pietro Station. Does anyone know of a good place to get some gelato in this area? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Never had really good gelato in Rome. I heard that Grom is very good, but it's near the Trevi Fountain, far from where you will be walking. But I see that your NCL cruise visits Florence. Try the Gelateria Vivoli in Florence and you will understand why it is rated the top gelateria in Italy. Enjoy!
