Fishing in Grand Cayman

If I remember correctly Drew Sailbum posted that shore fishing is only allowed for residents. He posted that here awhile ago.

When we stayed there for a week last summer the only deep sea fishing we could find was to charter the whole boat. I can't remember exactly but it seems like it was $600 for a half day trip.

I hope this helps!

Enjoy!

What cruiseline are you going on? Carnival has a shore excursion in Grand Cayman that is Deep Sea Fishing, 4 hours $139 per person. Lunch included and naturally you can not take your catch back on the boat.....that part bummed my hubby out :(

Sorry, but you remembered incorrectly. He posted in This Thread the 3rd post.

To highlight and clarify, tourists do NOT need a fishing license. License requirements only apply to legal residents of the Cayman Islands.

Limits still apply as to manner and location where is is permissible to fish. Please respect our Marine Parks. We would encourage you to use catch-and-release practices.
