cruisin martins Posted August 2, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2009 My husband and I are booked in 1074 on the Carnival Splendor. We are very concerned about the location because we had a really bad experience once. Underneath are cabin -good. We can't figure out what is above. There are no cabins. On the legend it is not marked as anything. Is it just deck? I don't think that would be too bad since its the Spa deck and not used at night. Thoughts?? eggypann Posted August 3, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2009 From looking at the deck plans, it appears your room is under the deck adjacent to the Thunderball pool. My guess is that it might be a little noisy during the day but quieter at night. Just a guess though. Maybe someone else who's had a similar room will post. You might want to post on the Carnival section as well. Good luck!
Sea Hag Posted August 8, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 8, 2009 I agree with Peg - it's under the open deck next to the pool. We were on the Splendor in April, and I think I'd be fine with booking a cabin in this location. I doubt that area gets much traffic at night.
