Wondering if anyone has stopped here and if so, what did you do? Thanks for any helpful tips.;);)..

Although Valencia is near to where we live and is the capital of our province we have only been there a couple of times so I am no great expert on the city.

However what we have seen we have liked.

It is not really a tourist town although they are now beginning to try to attract more tourists. It was the home of the America’s cup in 2007 and is now the venue for the Formula 1 European GP motor race.

It has beautiful architecture and I absolutely love what they have done with turning the old river into a gardens.

Does anybody know how far the city center is from the port? I can't seem to find that information.

I know it talks about excusrions from MSC Sinfonia but it still gives you an idea what is around there. I am sure your ship will offer similar excursions.

Thank you so much for this information! We are stopping in Valencia on Oceania Regatta on oct 1. The ships excursions to Valencia are only 1/2 day and mostly walking tours.

 

Do you know if the cabs at the dock are reliable?

I am also on the TA Summit on 11/28..thanks for the info., Just trying to research and figure out what I want to do. Very excited about going!
