Gem cabin 11654

Has anyone stayed in this cabin, I'm concerned about smokers above on the open deck 12. We had a similar aft cabin like this on Celebrity and smokers would flick their cigarettes down on us and paper cups etc would litter our balcony. Is this balcony perhaps covered?

No issues. The balcony is fully covered and protected from above. I was in 11152 and had friends in 11654. You do know this is a handicapped cabin.

Yes, I am handicapped, however do not use wheelchair. Thanks for the reply.

OMG, I can see why you're concerned about your cabin location -- roaches and cigarette problems! I'm actually surprised you're even considering an aft cabin again. ;)

 

All kidding aside, we had an aft minisuite on the Sun in the same location, under an outdoor cafe, only our balcony wasn't nearly as covered as yours will be, and we had no issues whatsoever (well, maybe a little soot, but you won't have that on the Gem).

 

We're booked in an aft minisuite on a sister ship for October and have no worries whatsoever.
