Late Dinner in Venice?

Soon to be hubby and I will be arriving in Venice on October 16 to begin our honeymoon. Our flight gets in after 8, and then we will check in at our hotel near St. Mark's Sq. I want to plan for an authentic dinner that night, and am wondering if anyone knows of good restaurants open in Venice for dinner quite late... I'd say 10ish.

10 isn't considered late for most restaurants in Venice. Your hotel should be able to point you to several in the neighborhood. Eating before 8 is highly unusual in Italy for Europeans.

Further to the late restaurants, any suggestions of places to eat? My fiance and I (we'll be on our honeymoon also) arrive into Venice on the Carnival Dream on Sunday Oct 18 and want to have a romantic night out....we overnight so it's really convenient! Any great places come to mind???
