donnar Posted August 4, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2009 We will have our credit card connected to our Sign and Sail. If I wanted to can I put cash towards my bill at anytime so I don't put so much on my credit card. I know I was able to do that on NCL. Thanks for the info.

WISH84 Posted August 4, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2009 This is exactly what we do. Just make sure you make your final cash payment prior to 7am on the day of debarkation. Any amount on your account after that will have been charged to your credit card.
donnar Posted August 4, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted August 4, 2009 Thanks for the fast replies. I just like to put some cash on the bill so I kinda get a feeling of how much we have spent!!!
shadoo Posted August 4, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 4, 2009 We always try to do this also. Usually on Thursday or Friday night, depending on when your are disembarking, we head to the Pursuer's desk and make a cash payment. Works for us!
jordanaire Posted August 4, 2009 #6 Share Posted August 4, 2009 Since my wife and I don't own a single credit card, we ALWAYS put cash down against our Sail & Sign cards! Works great! The Purser's desk will notify you if you need to add more cash towards your card. And IF there's any money left on your cards at the end of the cruise, they will reimburse you with a check before debarkation. So go ahead and plan to use cash! :cool:Bill

*Mach* Posted August 4, 2009 #8 Share Posted August 4, 2009 You can also toss dollars on your Sail & Sign account prior to sailing. As long as you're more then 14 days prior to sailing you can call 800-906-7603 and add money either from a credit card or debit card. Make sure they understand that you want it as on board credit... NOT Fun Ship Dollars! :)
Sdallnct Posted August 4, 2009 #9 Share Posted August 4, 2009 Funship Dollars http://www.carnival.com/BonVoyage/AddToCart.aspx?cat=giftcertificates&pid=FSD&cid=CC_Footer_66 Thanks for the link, might do that.... Tho I'll have to try IE...seems many of Carnivals sites don't like Chrome...at least when there is a form to fill out..
Senoj84 Posted August 4, 2009 #10 Share Posted August 4, 2009 Just like everyone else said YES! I always put cash down on my S&S, I've never used a card. If there's any extra cash left over you can get it the night before the last day of the cruise.
SCFCRUISER Posted August 4, 2009 #11 Share Posted August 4, 2009 I always use a credit card & on the night before we get off the ship i usually put $500.00 cash towards the account. That way I won't have credit card shock to remind me how much beer I drank during the week!!!
