Buena Vista Hotel-Lauderdale by the sea

Just wondering if anyone has ever stayed at the Buena Vista Hotel in Lauderdale by the Sea. We are going to be staying there in Feb. and just was wondering what people experienced. It sounds very nice and simple.

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I drove by there, and it looks VERY nice, probably the nicest small hotel in the area. That is from the outside, anyway.

The only recent trip advisor review was bad, but if you read the details of what they refer to as a "disgusting" "disaster" you will find that no mom & pop type place would be good enough for the writer; they complained about things like broken blinds and mismatched dishes! Come on!

Anyway, if you do stay I'd love to hear about how good or bad it really is.
