coachj5452 Posted August 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2009 My wife and I are going on a cruise on the Crown Princess on December 12th. We will be stopping at Grand Cayman, Roatan, Cozumel and Princess Cay. My wife has some mobility issues, and I am wondering which of these ports require a tender. Can anyone let me Know? Thank you. mmyorkston Posted August 5, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2009 For sure Princess Cays is a tender port, and somtimes Cozumel is because of the large numbers of ships that are in port.

Rockymountainsparky Posted August 5, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 5, 2009 We're doing that cruise on Nov. 28th. Princess Cays and Grand Caymen both require tenders.
Cruiseteach Posted August 5, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 5, 2009 Yes, both of those ports require a tender, but i don't remember that either tender was difficult to get on or off. In fact, i am pretty sure there were some folks in wheelchairs.

They will help anyone with mobility issues. I've seen them carry wheelchairs with people in them onto tenders. If the person is able to walk, they'll get them on the tender and store the wheelchair. I think the only thing they can't accommodate is a motorized chair.
