Disney Pre-Cruise

We are staying at Disney for 4 nights prior to our Carnival Dream cruise in July. Disney offers complementary transportation to and from MCO. Would it be more cost affective to use the complementary transport and transfer/rent a car from the airport to Port Canaveral or try to get direct transportation from Disney?

It might cost a little bit more to rent a car on Disney property but it would take less time and be a lot easier.

You would have to wait for the bus at your hotel for everyone to get on with all their stuff then drive to the airport and do the reverse. Once at the airport you would have to go to a different level and wait in line to get your car and then go find it. Once in your car you would have to find your way out of the airport onto 528 (the road to Port Canaveral).

Just my opinion:o
