Which Port is easier to get to w toddlers from airport, Miami or Port Canaveral?

We will be traveling with an 18 month old and a 4 yr old. Is it easier to get to Port Canaveral or Miami from the airport with kids. We may have to do hotels on one or both ends.

Miami is only about a 20 min. cab ride to the port.

Orlando is at LEAST 45 mins or longer from Port Canaveral, and you really need some sort of "pre-arranged" transport---a cab would bust the budget!

Miami port is fine, Miami airport is a zoo. Especially AA's terminal.

For distance and ease of getting to/from port - Miami. Easily.

 

The distance between MIA and the port is 8 miles and a 20 minute cab ride with a $26 flat fee.

 

MCO to Port Canaveral is a bit more complicated. Since it is so far away (45 minutes) it requires either a cruise transport (expensive), a rental car (a pain) or a private towncar/driver (what we have always done).
