Hi all

Bit of a daft question but we are traveling from Manchester airport by coach to southampton on 30th october and just wondered if anyone new how many stops and how much time is allowed at each stop. Will we have time to get something to eat or should we breakfast at the airport.

Not daft. We did something similar with Princess/Eavesway a few years ago and from what I remember we had a lunch stop at a service area on M40 for about an hour

Hi Bridmo,

We're doing the same thing so if you manage to get any info please post it.

We have had almost nothing from the TA except the bill lol.

Cheers Paul

It is 3 years ago & we went from Bradford.

We had 3 stops, a short one of 20-25 minutes, a longer one, 45-60 mins, I am not quite sure my memory for so long ago is not precise and another shorter one.

It is a legal requirement for the drivers to have breaks, so yes there is time to have a simple meal- the drivers have to, so there is time for you as well.

Thanks all

Can't make up my mind whether or not to have a breakfast at the Airport or to eat on route, maybe wait to find out time of coaches. We're staying overnight in hotel so the car will be there when we fly home.

Hi

Please do post if you find anything out. Like Paul we've had very little info from travel agent. Ours didn't know that the free bus existed! But in their defence we did get a good price!

We shall be doing the journey a day later on the 31st.

I can confirm the info from the other posters - one stop of around 1 hour on M40. This would be a very late breakfast!! Remember you can always get something to eat once you are aboard. We have always had a very comfortable ride on the coach, it's the best way to travel to the cruise terminal, and no case lugging.

David.

Thanks again to you all

another question: when your cases are put on the coach, do they automatically get transfered onto the ship or do we collected them off the coach and take them aboard ourselves.

again thanks for any help
