jerblu Posted August 10, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2009 Are there actually dance floors of any size? What KIND of dancing is there? Ballroom? (they cant have a floor large enough, surely) Latin (rhumba, chacha, maybe Argentine Tango)? Or swaying in place and tapping out the rhythm and calling it dancing? seagirl2002 Posted August 10, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2009 On each ship are two dance floors. One in the main bar and one in the Panorama Lounge. In one of the bars you have a Band playing and in the other one a piano player. We have experienced all different kinds of music. You can always request something. The band is mostly polish but some of them have a great repertoire.
Emtbsam Posted August 10, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 10, 2009 When we were on the Cloud, there were four couples who danced in the lounge after dinner every evening. There was plenty of space for us to do ballroom dancing. The bar seems to attract a younger crowd, and the dance floor can be more crowded, but there is still room to move around. dougburns Posted August 10, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 10, 2009 The European bands on SS play great dance music! The best floor is in the Panorama Lounge. The bar dance floor is small and that's normally where the piano player is.
Mike2131 Posted August 10, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 10, 2009 Sounds like a great book title.
unfathomable Posted August 11, 2009 #6 Share Posted August 11, 2009 There is a third dance floor in the Restaurant. On longer cruises, there is sometimes a dinner-dance: I suspect only if the ship is not full.
