Hotel to airport early flight

My wife and I will be staying a few days in a hotel near the Acropolis after our cruise. We have an early flight and need to be at the airport by 4:00 a.m.. Could anyone please tell me what kind of transportation would be available from the hotel this early in the morning? Thanks

Your hotel will be able to arrange a taxi and may have a price list posted in the lobby (we stayed at the AVA, near the Acropolis and they had a taxi price list at the reception desk.) The price of taxis is quite a bit higher ( I think double) from midnight to 5 a.m.

 

Instead of taking a taxi to the airport, we walked up to Syntagma Square to catch a 3:30 a.m. airport bus (at that time of night they go approx. every 20 minutes) ... for ~3 euros each.
