Grenada - What to see in a few hours?

Hey all, i've noticed on my cruise itinerary that we only dock in Grenada from 7am to 2pm.

 

Can you provide me with suggestions of the best theing do to and see in that time?

Hiya

Just wondering if you are on the same cruise as us? we are in Grenada on 14th december 2009 - my birthday - and docked from 7am- 2pm!

The cruise is our belated honeymoon - we got married in June. We leave UK on 5th December and join the Sea Princess in Montego Bay.

For Grenada we are looking at maybe doing a river tubing experience.

no responses - annoying! we are in the same situation in early jan, dont really want to be getting up too early so i think any excursions would be best booked through the cruise ship so at least we cant get left behind.

Walk around the port or take a water taxi down to Grand Anse Beach.

We booked a tour through Princess. It was nice but we especially loved Grand Anse beach.

Grenada is a beautiful island with much to see. Since you have such a short visit, I suggest taking the water taxi to Grand Anse Beach. It's a gorgeous powdery sand with perfect swimming. Rent a couple of lounge chairs and enjoy the view.
