The hobies are over near the jet-ski rental. You can't book them ahead of time...it's first come/first serve, but I've never had to wait for one. There's a little stand on the beach. Grab a life jacket, and give your card to the person there to rent the hobie. It's about $40 for an hour, but they don't seem strict about the hour if you go over a few minutes.

 

I don't know about renting a kayak separately from the tour.

 

Thanks for the info! One more question - can you also rent jet skis without doing the tour? That would be awesome! Does anyone know how much those would be?:D
