Beaches Resort

We are looking for something relaxing to do in Ocho Rios with our two kids. We have been to Sandals before and love them. Has anyone recently done the day pass at Beaches. How far from the pier is it and is it true you really get a cheaper rate if you just walk right in and not make prior arrangements. When I called they told me 85 which seems like alot. I am hoping someone will telll me they got it for cheaper! Thanks

I'd like to know more about a day at Beaches also. Do you have to call them to reserve or is there a way to do it online? Does anyone know how far (and car fare) from the port?
