tipping on the granduer

Does anyone know if the granduer is no longer passing out envelopes on the last night to leave tips in? I called my travel agent because I wanted to prepay the tip and she said that they are automatically taking it out of your credit card that you put the sea pass on, or cash if you pay your sea pass with cash. Does anyone know if this is true?

Even if you pay the tips automatically, you should still receive the envelope. You will also be provided with a slip of paper stating that you have prepaid to go in the envelope. You can also add additional tips if you wish. We do.

well my travel agent is lying about it then...I guess I could call royal caribbean and find out for sure

Your TA is not lying! You have the option of putting it on you Sea Pass card. If you do, you get vouchers to put in the envelopes.

Placing your tips on your seapass is not automatic. A couple of days into the cruise you will receive a form that you can fill out if you want to place your tips on your seapass. If you don't fill out the form, then they don't charge your seapass.
