Ocho Rios -Jamaica

?: Am on a 5 day cruise, DW/DD(4) and this is the 1st port followed by

a stop in the Cayman islands. Going to take the little one out snorkling or is that a bad idea...........anyways back to my question, so with Jamaica being the 1st stop, what would be a good thing to do with the Family that is fun and not alot of effort. Hiking to see the Dunn Falls seem tough with a small child.

Help!!!

Sounds like finding a taxi driver (or one of the tour operators that get high marks from other members) for a tour of the island would work very nicely for you. It's done a lot so it's not like you're taking a big chance either.

We did just that our first time and really enjoyed it.

there is a hotel right off the pier, the renaissance, jamaica. we stopped over there for lunch one time. i'm going to email them and see if they offer day passes. will let you know. as far as the falls, did them years ago. kind of tough for the little ones. mine will be 8 when we go and i won't take her. just going to hang out at the beach.
