Bus from Monaco to Eze #112

I am slightly confused by the bus schedule. What is the name of the stop in Monaco? We are trying to get to eze on the 112

That is a good question since the bus 112 schedule does not even show it goes to Monte Carlo. This is just the French way of being difficult :) The closest stop to the Monte Carlo Port is actually the first stop on the schedule which is called Cap d'Ail-Salines. When you pull up the schedule for the bus 112 you will see a funny symbol in the 2nd column (next to the station name). If you click on that symbol you will get a map that shows you the exact location of the bus stop (you can zoom or shrink the map). There is usually a tourist office kiosk at the port and they can probably give you a current bus schedule and walking directions. When you get down to the train station you actually have two options. You could take the train if the schedule is right, or you can also grab the #100 bus that runs between Monte Carlo and Nice and also makes stops at both the Eze sur Mer train station and several places within Villafranche. Keep in mind that the buses are still a real bargain with a 1 Euro fare. We do not know if you can get a free transfer and use the 83 bus to the 100 bus, but this is something you might want to ask the bus driver since it would save you a Euro if you can use a transfer.

Just to add to Hank's comments, the bus stop is called La Cremaillere - the link below shows approximately where the bus stops (on a street above the casino, marked on the map with the red "A"). We took bus #112 from Eze, and got off there. Note that it's close to a TI (also shown on the map), so it might be helpful to stop and verify the exact location at the TI.

It would be helpful if the bus website showed the stops for the full route into Monaco, instead of only showing it to the border.

That is really good info and better then my advice. We never did know how that bus weaved its way through Monte Carlo. When we want to go to anyplace other then Nice (easy on the bus or train) we prefer to rent a car which also allows us to stop in St Paul de Vence.
