Flow Rider

Recommended Posts

We were on the Liberty during spring break this year. This was a very busy week and probably compares to summer. My family did the boogie boarding (on your knees) and they divided the flow rider down the middle so a person could go on each side. There was a little wait but everyone loved it and didn't seem to mind. Once you fall off your board it goes to the next person, so it moved along quickly.

As far as stand up surfing goes, if you are able to load yourself for stand up surfing they have an 8:15 am advanced session which is usually nearly empty and you can get a run in every five to ten minutes. At 9:00 am they will help you get on the surf board and it will fill up but not bad. Afternoon sessions get very busy with 15 -20 minute waits.

Port days are also an excellent choice as most folks are ashore.

Here's my son at a morning session on a port day. 9:15 am and no line.
