I will be in Nassau on next Saturday. The ship will be docked over night.

Any suggestions on nice places to eat in the area or fun safe local night spots?

My husband and I took a cab over to the atlantis casino and had a great time. There is shopping and the aquariam and the pools. There are charges for certain places. Look at atlantis website. It just depends on what you like to do. Have a great cruise. Jo

Senor Frogs is literally right where you dock. The food is pretty good, but the real draw is that it's always a party there. It's indoors/outdoors which I liked a lot. And then all you have to do is walk 100 ft back to the ship and not really worry about getting in a strange cab at night or walking down a dark alley.

Graycliff is one of the top restaurants in the hemisphere. If you go, be sure to take a tour of their wine cellar. Bring lots of cash if you want to order their most expensive wine...it's over $110,000 per bottle. Of course, they have hundreds of other more reasonably priced wines.

 

Avoid Senior Frogs...it's overpriced, and the food is not great. If you really want to go to Senior Frogs, go to the one in Miami...better food.

 

If you want real local food, try The Poop Deck. Real Bahamian conch, grouper and peas and rice. Reasonably priced in a casual atmosphere.

They have 2 locations. The closest one to the ship is at the Nassau Yacht Haven.

You can't go wrong with any of the local dishes...lobster, chonch, grouper...it's all good.
